Deimos is an exquisite, hand-crafted, ceramic geometric piece created in September 2026 by Award-Winning Cochiti Artist Jeff Suina. This shape is the latest of Jeff’s exploration with geometric design, positive and negative space, and multi-dimensional accents. This work also highlights design elements that are etched with rock face textures, adding even more dynamism to the piece. Deimos is named after one of the moons of Mars in the Solar System. These moons are too faint to be seen with the naked eye but it is surmised that they played a critical role in the history and evolution of Mars itself.
Dimensions: 10 inches tall by 6 inches wide (approx)
Materials: Contemporary clay, pigments, and sealants. Kiln fired.
